During the
2008-2009 season, the Belhaven dance department is thrilled to present
numerous dance concerts involving varied styles including classical
ballet to contemporary modern works. These unique and original dances
choreographed by inspired and creative members of our dance faculty,
seasoned guest artists and students studying dance choreography display
an array of artistic expressions. For this series, I invite you to our
spacious dance studio theatre located in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and
Dance Center and the Concert Hall located at the Center for the Arts.
Our dancers will offer an experience that will enrich your life.

Fall Dance Concert

A showcase of choreography by dance faculty and guest artists, presented by the Belhaven College Dance Ensemble. Styles for the evening include classical and contemporary ballet, modern and cultural dance. General admission $10, Seniors/Students $5. DOXA Fall Concert

An Evening of Integrated Arts – Tunes, Tutus, and Turning Wheels

Belhaven College, USA International Ballet Competition, VSA Arts of Mississippi, Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center and Collage Ministries join together in presenting an exciting concert highlighting artistic expressions of those with and without disabilities. This unique collaborative celebration involves music, dance and visual arts from local and national artists. Complimentary admission. Donations will be accepted at the door. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
